We welcome applications to join our growing near-surface geophysics and utility services survey team. We have a range of potential posts accommodating different levels of experience.
We are looking for people with one year's plus experience in geophysical investigations for environmental or engineering applications and/or utility services detection and mapping.
You will ideally have experience in techniques such as ground penetrating radar (GPR), electromagnetics (EM), magnetometry, microgravity, electrical methods, seismic methods, radio frequency location, utilities recognition. We do not expect you to have experience in all of these techniques, only those applicable to your past roles and experience. Some experience of data processing, interpretation and reporting for these techniques is also desirable.
You will be involved in projects at all stages, with training provided where required. We undertake a broad range of projects including surveys for transport infrastructure and for engineering, geotechnical, geological and environmental purposes, as well as unexploded ordnance (UXO) and utility services detection. You will have ample opportunity to expand your knowledge and progress your career within a friendly and supportive team.
You will be based at our office in Eynsham, Oxfordshire. Most of your work will relate to UK projects, but the opportunity to be involved in international projects is likely to arise. A valid UK driving licence is essential.
Salary is dependent on experience and will be subject to review after 6 and 12 months. Your performance and development will be reviewed yearly there-on as a matter of course, to ensure your career progression. Salary enhancements include:-

All field expenses etc. are paid by the company either directly or through use of a company credit card.
Agreed overtime of double-time for nights/Sundays and bank holidays, time and a half on Saturdays. 25 days annual leave, increasing a day per year to 30 days. Stakeholder (Royal London) pension scheme.
