Boston Energy Ltd is a privately owned, well established and successful business operating in the field of Wind Energy. Our Energy division has a total turnover of approximately £14m PA. We provide temporary personnel, maintenance services and technical training. We are a market leader in our sector with a blue chip client base that is the envy of our competitors.

The position will be based from Beverley, East Yorkshire and the direct report will be the Head of Energy.

The main responsibilities of this role will be :

Responsible for maintaining and developing existing customer relationships through good service and a continuous improvement approachWorking with the Head of Energy on the development and delivery of our UK Business StrategyLeading a team with ultimate responsibility of managing and fulfilling the needs of a multi-customer and multi-project portfolioDevelop a thorough understanding of and then the ongoing monitoring of the UK Wind Energy pipeline of work to identify where Boston Energy should work within thisCoordinate service reviews with our main customer base to measure the success of our service offering and understand where and how we can improveEnsure frequent and ongoing communication with our main customer contacts as well as seeking out new contacts for yourself and the Boston Energy Management team to align toDevelop Boston Energy’s reputation by ensuring a positive experience for every new Technician that we engage with through good recruitment and selection practiceEnsure frequent and ongoing engagement with our established Technician workforceDevelop, implement and manage the team against individual and team KPI’s that align to the UK and core business strategyUsing ‘Insights profiles’ to help select the best possible team fit when hiring new team members and also to understand how you can get the best from the people you leadWorking with the Head of Energy to identify and work on areas of personal development for oneself and those that you leadDemonstrate the company values of quality, reliability, integrity, safety and fairness through your own actions and the way that you lead your teamWorking with the Head of Business Development to identify new business pipeline opportunitiesChampion a reciprocal environment for the sharing of leads and industry intelligence ensuring the Energy management team all contribute to our team effort for new business growthEnsuring team adherence to the use of company systems so that information is logged correctly for recall and reporting purposesEnsure team adherence to Group process and quality proceduresCommunicating closely with Group departments such as Finance and MarketingKey Characteristics of the role
