Severn Wye is seeking to appoint passionate sustainable energy expert to work with us as Head ( or possibly Director) of Energy Services, to help us achieve our ambitions, secure future growth and successfully deliver our strategic goals and objectives.
We are looking for an outstanding individual with the ambition, creativity and experience to lead, train and encourage our sustainable energy project teams to innovate, create and deliver new projects and services that tackle climate change, eliminate fuel poverty and create a healthier environment and quality of life for communities, now, and for the future.
That person will have training (and ideally qualifications/accreditations) and experience in the sustainable energy sector, which might include some or all of energy efficiency/retrofit, renewable energy technologies, energy management, carbon foot-printing and/or energy or net carbon zero strategy and delivery. They will also have a strong track record of developing, managing and delivering sustainable energy projects, with proven experience in building and leading successful teams to deliver high quality projects and services.
The Head of Energy Services will lead our external stakeholder engagement and energy services/project development in England. You will have proven experience in building successful partnerships, ideally cross-sectoral, and a track-record of securing new work or fundraising. As part of the delivery of our strategy, you will work across multiple sectors to share our learning and delivery experience to shape and inform policy and technology innovation – we hope you are, or aspire to be, an inspirational thought-leader in the sector.
