Smartworks Metering is part of the Marston Holdings Group of companies. We are a dedicated dual fuel installation business assisting Energy Suppliers, Meter Asset Managers (MAM) and Meter Operators (MOP) to roll out a new generation of smart gas and electricity meters in 26 million homes and small businesses throughout England, Wales and Scotland.We are currently recruiting for Dual Fuel / Smart Meter Installers. The role will be to visit customers properties, serve and execute the warrant, inspect meters for signs of tampering/theft and install gas and electric smart meters, making sure work is completed safely. You’ll be working to complete system driven appointments, through our in-house planning system via a company provided tablet.We are looking for people with great team spirit, who will assist their colleagues and promote the company brand. What you’ll be doing…• Execute warrants of entry for both Debt and Revenue Protection accompanied by a locksmith for both residential and commercial customers • Be the lead person on site and ensure contractors are working safely and line with company procedures • Interact with customers in a professional and controlled manner with key focus on identifying vulnerability and ability to pay • Detect and prevent cases of theft on metering equipment in line with company procedures • Ongoing maintenance and emergency work on meter assets including helping customers meet challenges around managing their fuel usage • Manage own stock levels on van • Provide first-class customer service and support • Ensure all worksheet submissions are accurate and timely • Resolution of customer queries in a professional and efficient manner • A certain level of flexibility will be required regarding the job role and responsibilities to fulfil this positionWhat you’ll need…• Current CCN1/CMA1 & MET1 qualification or an equivalent aligned qualification. • Previous MOCOPA experience to single off multi (3 phase is beneficial). • A driving licence with no more than 6 points • Previous practical experience in a dual fuel role • Great interpersonal skills that empowers customer relations as well as driving best practice and proactive change for the better • The ability to coach and develop others who are developing new skills and competencies
