Fantastic opportunity now available for an experienced marine and coastal environmental planner to join one of the most sought-after independent multidisciplinary consultancies in the UK. Due to my clients fantastic success since they formed in 2013, they have enjoyed significant growth, and now boast an enviable reputation in the market as a top firm to work for.
Already well-established in the renewable energy market, they have identified a key opportunity for an experienced coastal marine specialist to take on a team lead role as part of their ambitious growth plans going forward
They are looking for someone to lead their environmental planning business, with a strong focus on offshore renewables along with ideally infrastructure project experience too. The person would ideally have a minimum of 10 years relevant experience and need to have a proven track record in delivering DCO and NSIP type projects in England and Wales.
My client is well established in the Scottish Renewables market and is looking to replicate this in the south. The individual will need to be market facing with established relationships within relevant firms and organisations. You will be responsible for developing a team to deliver on a range of projects mainly on behalf of developers on consenting for offshore renewables and grid connection schemes. Ideally you will be able to dovetail energy-related and infrastructure projects together.
The role can be based anywhere across England and Wales as they have offices dotted around the country, including Bristol, London, Chester, Leeds and Birmingham.
The role offers fantastic scope for the individual to grow into a senior leadership/directorship role within this rapidly growing and dynamic consultancy.
