Northern Regional Director - Land Quality
Regional Director required to lead and develop the Northern Region for a well-established and rapidly expanding Multidisciplinary Consultancy.
On behalf of my client I am seeking a Land Quality Specialist to take a lead role in developing the Northern region land quality business. This fantastic role represents a significant opportunity for an ambitious individual to really drive their career forward within a firm set to rapidly grow over the next few years.
Already an established player in the market with a global presence, my client has genuine ambition to develop into one of the UK’s leading consultancies. This role will play a key part of their future plans, giving the successful individual a huge platform from which to progress their career.
My client is a highly regarded Global Consultancy firm with significant expansion plans for their UK business. In this key role, you will play a major part of their growth strategy in their northern region. This position could be based from any one of their offices spread across the region including; Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Warrington and Birmingham.
The role will be well supported by the wider business and you will be given considerable resources to ensure rapid success.
The ideal person will ideally have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a relevant role, with demonstrable technical, commercial and project management track record. You should have excellent written and verbal skills, as well as a desire to lead a team and undertake regular client facing and networking.
My client works with a host of different client types across the region and are involved in identifying and mitigating ground associated risks with various assets, potential acquisitions and disposal.
The role will entail the following responsibilities:
- Significant Input on the Devising and Execution of a Three-Year Business Plan
- P&L Responsibility
- Key Client Management
- Project Management/Delivery
- Technical Input on Phase I and Phase II Land Condition Assessments
- Significant Client Interaction
- Securing Work Opportunities
- Proposal Writing
- Team Leadership
My client is seeking someone already well established in the with a track record of working with various stakeholders across the region. You should enjoy the challenge of developing client relationships and positioning yourself as the “go to” person/firm of choice.
You will be well supported by the wider team and the Business Unit Director. You will be given considerable resources and investment to provide you with the best platform from which to succeed.
- Highly commercial/strategic

- Expert in Phase 1 desk studies, Phase 2 site investigations, remediation strategies
- Excellent technical report writing ability
