Our client, an award winning environmental consultancy, is looking to appoint an Associate EIA Coordinator to join their growing Environment team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to help drive an exciting new service by pulling together multiple established disciplines to offer more value to their clients.



Key Responsibilities:

The role will include supporting and managing project teams, developing and realising business opportunities, acting as the principal client interface. Using your knowledge of the planning system and client requirements, you will provide the focal point for our clients and brief our existing teams of technical specialists with the necessary information, acting as an internal EIA coordinator.

Your experience as an EIA coordinator or planning consultant will provide you with a good overview understanding of the planning support services we offer and assist with the coordination of our work on a project. The successful candidate should have a thorough understanding of the environmental consenting process for proposed developments and will have the opportunity to lead on all EIA related project work in the delivery of a range of projects across mixed developments, residential, commercial, leisure, schools and health care sectors.

Qualifications / Experience:
  • Degree educated or higher in a relevant discipline (e.g. Environmental Science)
  • Chartered member of IEMA or other recognised professional institution (e.g. RTPI)
  • Good understanding of development and environmental consenting
  • Proven experience with EIA projects across a range of sectors
  • Strong management skills: client, account and team oriented
  • Effective written and verbal communicative skills
  • International experience will be advantageous
