You will be specialising in the project management of the Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA's) for large and complex development proposals with a specific focus on the residential, mixed-use, retail, commercial and leisure sectors.
You will be working closely with the integrated planning team and be involved in the coordination of technical specialists on behalf of developers and prepare Environmental Statements (ES) for submission in support of planning applications.
In addition to the EIA services, the team also advises clients on the management of environmental risks associated with potential development sites and provide sustainability advice to ensure that development proposals are of the highest standard.
About The Role
You will be involved in the following areas and take on more responsibility as your capabilities increase:
*EIA project management support including the co-ordination of the technical consultant team.
*Drafting screening and scoping as well as ES chapters and non-technical summaries.
*Input to advice regarding minimisation of environmental risks associated with potential development sites.
*Providing support to senior staff in meetings, public exhibitions and with coordination and publication of the ES.
*Assisting senior staff with business development and client care.

*Educated to degree level as a minimum and preferably have a master's degree in EIA or a related environmental planning course with EIA content.
*Upwards of one year's relevant post graduate experience.
