Our client is the largest WEEE Producer Compliance Scheme in the UK. The Company has continued to expand its collection activities and a recent business restructure has given rise to a requirement for a Legal Compliance Administrator. Key tasks will include: • Co-ordinate and undertake the timely review of the insurance cover, licences, permits and other relevant approvals of the Company’s collection arrangements and third- party contractors. • Co-ordinate and assist in the timely review of HSE documentation, safe working procedures and other relevant policies of the Company’s collection arrangements and third-party contractors. • Assess all incoming documentation for compliance with legislation and company policies, ensuring any discrepancies arising are actioned and resolved. • Monitor and prepare reports on the compliance performance of all third party contractors. • Support the Company’s contracting activities by assisting in the preparation of contractual documentation for all third-party contractors and collection arrangements, and monitoring the status of all contracts. Experience and skill set: • Must have experience of working in a waste regulatory environment and monitoring third party contractor compliance, ideally involving transportation and treatment of WEEE. • Must be a well organised individual with a high level of attention to detail and diligence to meet the compliance requirements of the organisation. • Must be able to work on own initiative to manage / prioritise own workload to deliver results in a time pressured, compliance environment. • Must have good IT and numeracy skills and be able to manage and manipulate data reporting tools and Excel worksheets. • Must have good communications skills as the role will involve extensive internal and external communication.
