Pivotal role available within leading global development and infrastructure consultancy. In this key position you will be leading and developing a highly respected and established team of water resources specialists.
Due to my client's ongoing success within the market and a recent restructure, they now require suitably experienced individual to help grow their water resources service offering. You will be involved in a wide range of water resources and hydrogeological consultancy projects serve a wide range of client types.
The role offers significant scope for career progression and personal development. You will be part of an organisation that value its staff, provide a rewarding and supportive environment.


Key responsibilities for the role are as follows:
*You will form a key part within the national team and will play an integral role in developing and implementing a strategy to grow the water resource consultancy services and revenue in the UK.
*Support junior and senior staff members in the successful delivery of a diverse range of projects from initial bid to issue of reports.
*Utilise your current skills and experience in assisting with developing and maintaining strong technical delivery, including continuous improvement to procedures, mentoring junior staff and ensuring projects meet client needs.
*Ensuring established Project Management procedures are complied with and that high-quality of work is insured at all time.
*Establishing new Key Clients and maintaining client relationships through an active Key Account Management programme.
*Work winning and client development.
*Industry engagement through paper presentation at conferences, leadership articles in the media, and contribution to industry and professional bodies.
Person Specification:
*Have an excellent attitude to team work and a strong desire to learn and develop your career.
*Have upwards of 10+ years' experience working in the UK Water Industry, either via consultancy or directly for a water company.
* Relevant degree course (BSc) and ideally a related Masters in Hydrogeology or Water Resources.
*Have an excellent technical understanding of hydrogeology and/or water resources consultancy.
* Have an establish network of contacts across the UK water industry.
*Be chartered or working towards achieving chartered status with a relevant institution (CGeol or CIWEM).
*Have a current driving licence.
*Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
