STF Site Operator
WasteRecruit have been retained by a leading soil treatment operator to source a Site Operator. Whilst the core responsibilities involve soil treatment and other site works (e.g. monitoring) to the required technical and commercial targets, a background in soil treatment is not necessarily expected. Your day to day workload will include all site inputs, so you will be working with the drivers coming onto site and depositing the soil. At this point you will be checking the transfer notes and assessing the material. You will have a background within the environmental sector to a supervisory level, and be comfortable working alone and outdoors in all weather conditions. Previous experience of contractor and stakeholder management is necessary. Familiarity with environmental laboratory reports is important as you will be expected to complete material analysis, collect samples over time and produce reports. The work will sometimes be physical, though all PPE and training will be given, and you will be outside in all sorts of weather. Professional qualifications such as WAMITAB, COSHH, CSCS, SSSTS or SMSTS and asbestos awareness would also be helpful. To be considered for this role please send a CV quoting job reference B8200.
