EIA Specialist, London, Leeds, Cambridge

My client seeks an EIA Specialist to work with both public and private sector clients on projects from power, rail, highways, aviation and water, applying your environmental knowledge and specialism whilst collaboratively working with clients. You will be working in a company culture of innovation where rewards are plentiful alongside fantastic career progression opportunities.
You will have proven experience of working within a multidisciplinary environmental team. In return, you can expect to receive excellent reward package, flexible benefits and market leading salary.
·A relevant degree in an environmental discipline
·Proven EIA experience
·4 years plus professional experience with an in depth practical knowledge and experience
·Excellent knowledge of the UK and EU environmental regulatory framework.
·Ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of audiences.
·Environmental consultancy experience.
·Experienced at drafting EIAs and managing the preparation of specialist topic chapters.
·Excellent client relationships building skills.
·Experience of working in multi-disciplinary, multicultural international teams would be a distinct advantage.
This is a new opportunity for an EIA specialist/coordinator to assist in a multi-disciplinary team. This includes:
·Preparing Environmental Statements and other environmental reports
·Advising clients on the UK development planning systems (including Scotland)
·Project managing multidisciplinary environmental teams
·Experience of managing budgets
·Client facing on projects and seeking new work
·Project and team administration duties
·Some line management of junior staff
