*Produce FRAs for development project in accordance with the NPPF, to include outline drainage/SuDS strategies and 1D/2D hydraulic modelling.
*Provide due diligence flood risk advice to landowners and undertake flood studies in the public sector.
*Management and mentoring of small, but growing team.
Capabilities and Qualifications:
Candidate must have:
*Degree in relevant engineering discipline preferable.
*At least 8 years' experience preparing FRAs, drainage strategies and hydraulic modelling.
*Professional qualification (in process of would be considered).
*Expert technical knowledge of Tuflow, Isis/Flood Modeller Pro and FEH with the ability to supervise junior modellers.
*Good knowledge and experience of Micro Drainage.
*Analyse and communicate opportunities and constraints at development sites.
*Experience producing and reviewing a wide range of FRAs and drainage strategies.
*Good knowledge of NPPF and SuDS Manual.
*Project management experience, including the ability to run whole lifecycle projects.
*Experienced at stakeholder relations in a client facing role.
*Leadership and management skills, especially as part of a small autonomous team.
