Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Environmental specialist to join a globally renowned Multi-
Disciplinary Consultancy with an industry leading reputation for the high quality of their work. The opportunity has arisen through our client's significant involvement in High Speed 2 and their growing requirement to service the project. Primary responsibilities will involve the coordination of resources for environmental surveys, including archaeology, agriculture, noise and vibration and hydrology.

Responsibilities

*Liaise with environment discipline teams to identify land required for surveys (based on HS2 survey methodology and seasonality) and critical dates for access.
*Inform HS2 Land Referencing Consultants of new areas required for surveys.
*Liaise closely with sub-consultants and in-house personnel in order to resource and programme surveys as required.
*Using the Land Access database and WebGIS applications, generate survey programmes and schedules and to monitor completion of surveys, update survey records and report to HS2.

Capabilities and Qualifications:

Essential

*At least 1 -2 years' experience of working in a environmental planning role although this will need to be significantly more if you are to be considered for a management role.
*Excellent administrative and coordination skills.
*Good IT skills - particularly with database management.
*Confident communicator.

Desirable

*Experience of major infrastructure projects.
*Experience of Environmental Impact Assessment.
*Experience of managing health and safety procedures
