An opportunity to lead the Ecology team of a national environmental consultancy who intend to significantly grow their team across several new offices in the next 12-18 months
Our client is looking to appoint an Associate ecologist to initially lead three offices across the East of England. The ideal candidate will be an inspirational leader who is enthused by the opportunity to manage and substantially grow their existing ecology team. With ambitious plans to expand and open new offices across the UK, this is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to be in an influential position with the scope to build a significant national ecology team.
About You:
*A minimum of 8 years' post-graduate experience in fulfilling similar functions or in a similar consultancy role.
*Good inter-personal communication skills as team leadership and mentoring will be paramount to the role.
*Strong project, budget control and resource management skills.
*Strong report writing and reviewing skills, with experience of writing ecology chapters to support Environmental Statements.
*Experience of liaison with statutory consultees, sub-consultants, design teams, Local Planning Authorities and client facing.
*Having a demonstrable knowledge of all stages of development from the initial feasibility stage through to the planning application stage and beyond.
*Demonstrable track record of providing commercial focussed project leadership on multi-disciplinary projects.
