A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Training Manager to join a leading company in the construction industry, which provides training to businesses and government agencies both large and small in the areas of not only construction skills but of safety and health and personal development, in order to ensure that Public Utility Companies and their Contractors received adequate training to comply with the New Roads & Street works Act 1991. (NRSWA)

Following on from the success of this specific training, the company expanded rapidly to meet the Customers needs, with the many and varied requests for general health and safety training within other industries. As well as expanding its portfolio of construction skills training i.e. Scaffolding, plant operation and many more. More recently, my client has introduced more management training courses, for example SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), IOSH and NEBOSH.

The Role
The training manager will be knowledgeable about solar PV systems and the market, and will be involved in all aspects of delivering knowledge and skills based training to customers throughout the UK.

Candidate Responsibilities
·To implement in person a solar pv focused educational curriculum
·To assist in the development of curriculum and courses
·To collaborate in the training deployment for all clients in the solar PV sector
·Develop new training programmes through effective collaboration
·If needed, manage the delivery of any distance learning requirements
·Should possess innovative content ideas for written training materials for classroom based activivies

Essential requirements
·Be able to adapt to difficult situations, with experience in working in an enviroment which is fast paced and has strict deadlines
·Possess an understanding of local construction and electrical codes and installing solar PV systems
·Demonstrate strong technical capabilities
·Knowledge of design instructional principles with experience in learning content development
·You should have the knowledge and experience in training adults using various types of learning methodologies
·Be knowledgeable of the UK wiring regulations
·Possess the ability to understand and relate to adult learners outstanding interpersonal skills are important for this position
·You should have the capability and proven experience to be able to think creatively and develop innovative solutions for customer problems
·A knowledge on all programmes which are related to local solar energy
·Be knowledgeable with policies on business ethics, and safety
·Possess great communication skills
·Be knowledgeable and experienced in the solar PV industry
·You should have the experience of working with contractors who are licensed
