About the role and ideal candidate:

We seek a Quality and Environmental Advisor to join this busy and friendly team. Your duties will include carrying out Quality and Environmental audits and inspections, providing training and induction to employees and offering advice and assistance to management and staff on quality and environmental matters.

You will be required to work with minimum supervision, using investigation and negotiation to solve problems in order to deliver a timely, efficient and professional service to internal customers. You will be expected to build your expertise in appropriate areas and keep up to date with developments in relevant standards and legislation.

You will be a self-motivated individual, able to work alone or as part of a small team. You must be organised and able to work to deadlines whilst managing frequent interruptions. Accuracy and attention to detail will be important to you. Excellent communication skills are key to this role.

Ideally you will have a track record of working in an Engineering environment and an understanding of the Quality and Environmental issues relating to a research and development company. A proven track record of auditing is essential and an Environmental Qualification and knowledge of TickIT would be advantageous. This role will require travel to our UK regional sites.
