Base Location – Addington, Kent
The programme team tracks spending, delivery and our performance in completing the programme of capital work to create new flood defences, repair and maintain these defences and our routine river maintenance. The team advises on the status of the programme, our risks and opportunities.
Overseeing capital and revenue projects, you’ll work with internal teams to ensure that projects are delivered and funding is maintained. Providing local advice to ensure projects are delivered correctly, you will also review project performance in view of financial, efficiency and outcome measure targets. The role will also work closely with the Regional Flood & Coastal Committee, local partners and internal teams on project/programme development and approaches to local funding.

There are opportunities to get involved with incident management when flooding occurs. We have a flexible range of roles you can volunteer for and you’ll get all the training and support you need.

The starting salary for this role is £33,990.
