In-depth knowledge of energy and energy efficiency policy and strategy and the related investment environment, and a detailed understanding and demonstrable experience of what it takes to develop commercial low carbon projects to financial close are essential. Excellent planning, interpersonal, analytical, communication and budget management skills are required, as well as experience of managing commercial risk and negotiating commercial terms for major multi-million pound projects.
