This multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy, now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Ecologist. They have a broad client based and service a wide range of sectors including public sector, renewable energy, residential and commercial developments and infrastructure schemes.

The successful candidates will have previous consultancy experience with demonstrable skills in project management, field work and technical reporting. The role will involve undertaking ecological surveys and preparing a variety of reports, supporting senior consultants in technical and general project management duties and contributing to project work and proposals.  You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across a range of sectors. Experience of undertaking extended phase I habitat surveys, surveying for protected species and a good understanding of the planning process is required.  You will ideally hold at least one protected species license, particularly class 2 bat or great crested newts, would be highly desirable.  Academically you will hold a degree and or a post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline.
