Natural Power is a leading international renewable energy consultancy. We provide expert services to the renewable energy industry in the development, construction and operational phases of renewable energy projects. To facilitate the growth of our Asset Management business we are currently recruiting Operations Associate for a Wind Farm located 20km south west of Elgin.
Our Asset Management department provides management services on approximately 2.6GW of wind energy, making us the leading provider of wind farm management services in the UK. We provide a range of services for utilities and independent power producers, including award winning Health & Safety management, HV system management, site performance analysis and optimisation, ControlCentre 24/7 monitoring, commercial and financial services.
Reporting into the Wind Farm Area Manager, the Operations Assistant will be responsible for supporting the co-ordination and management of all activities associated with the operation of Rothes & Paul’s Hill Wind Farms. A selection of duties and responsibilities associated with the role includes:
- Delivering site inductions
- Performing site inspections
- Performing Health & Safety audits (office and Turbine)
- Incident investigations
- Managing, performing and recording PPE inspections
- Compiling Weekly site performance analysis reports
- Maintenance of site documentation
- Facilities management

Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for a highly motivated and committed professional with experience in a similar technical support role. Ideally you will have a qualification (or equivalent experience) with Health & Safety processes and systems; further to this knowledge of the operation and maintenance of Wind Farm Equipment would be highly advantageous.
It is essential that you are highly computer literate, being competent with the Microsoft Office suite and in particular Microsoft Word. Experience of an electronic work order system is also required; ideally this will be ‘WindCentre’, however similar Enterprise Recourse Planning (ERP) packages would also be acceptable.
You will possess excellent communication skills being able to convey clear and concise information in both written and verbal format to staff, clients and third parties alike. You will be capable of working as a team and independently, being able to prioritise and manage your own time in line with the changing needs of the business. Being a SME, you will be expected to be flexible with your time and standard duties.
A reasonable level of fitness is required due to nature of site based work.
