SAP Basis Administrator

WBRS Switzerland 120000.00 - 125000.00 GBP Annual

SAP Basis Administrator required for a leading client in Zurich. 

Your role with involve being

Responsible for the whole SAP Basis environment

Technical contact person for the company

Operation of SAP base systems on Linux and Windows Servers

Close cooperation with the offshore centers

Coordination and control of L1/L2/L3 activities in the SAP base business

3rd level support at incidents and problems for SAP systems and their databases

Monitoring of the SAP systems and alarming in emergency cases

Writing and maintaining the business documentations, eg operational manuals

Help with design, concepts and construction of new SAP architectures

Cooperation on customer projects and implementation of change request, upgrades and migrations

Regular on-call service

The ideal candidate will have experience of

5-7 years of experience in operation of SAP base systems

Good knowledge of the SAP technologies (solution manager, Netweaver: Abab and Java, NWDI, Business Objects) and the databases (Oracle, MaxDB and MSSQL.)

Good knowledge of German and English language (spoken and written)

Readiness for on-call service and for work out of business hours

High ability in customer orientation, communication and teamwork

Self-initiative, high safety and sense of responsibility in dealing with server systems
