Close-Out Coordinator

My client, a large leading Oil and Gas Operator is looking for a Close-Out Coordinator to join their team on contract initially up to the end of December 2014 with potential for extension thereafter.

This role would be responsible for Coordinating Close Out of Project Documentation & Handover of agreed deliverables to the Operations Group. Liaise with Construction, DCC & Project Managers to ensure all close-out activities are completed in accordance with procedures

Key Activities:
*Develop & Ensure Process & Procedures for Closeout Activities are carried out and adhered to by staff and contractors.
*Ensure all Closeout Activities are reviewed & completed in accordance with procedures
*Coordinate Workpack Closeout Activities with associated Contractors
*Provide Reporting on all aspects of KPI & documentation related to KPIs
*Dealing with Closeout-related matter with IVB's.
*Ensure As-building Activities are followed in accordance with procedures
*Coordination of Project to Operations Handover
*Liaise with Construction (On & Offshore), As-building, Weight Control & DCC to ensure all Closeout Activities are completed in line with procedures.

Candidate Skills Required:
*Relevant experience in IM/Document Control and expediting environment with experience in a supervisory role
*Strong track record with responsibility for initiation, execution and delivery of solutions to complex problems within Closeout
*Relevant Operations/Project services experience
*Good Understanding of Overall Project Delivery Process
*High level of self-motivation
*Strong track record for creation of Processes & Procedures.
*Confidence and ability to challenge existing beliefs and provide innovation
*Knowledge of Document Control Methodologies
*MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel etc)
*Good communication skills, strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
