Business Development Manager

Taylor Hopkinson's exclusive client is a fast-growing player in the third party operations and maintenance industry in the UK. Due to this continued growth they are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager.

The Role

  • Development of new and existing accounts for wind services
  • Liaise between the market and internal functions
  • Exceed business plan targets for market growth
  • Aspire to continue the growth in market share
  • Know the products and services intimately in order to sell them to the clients in a professional and credible manner
  • Regular reporting on account progress and new business development activities
  • Contribute to the sales and account management strategies
  • Readily identify new business opportunities

The Requirements

  • Existing network in the UK wind sector
  • Ability to demonstrate technical understanding of wind farm operations and maintenance
  • Demonstrable track record of sales in the UK wind sector
  • Qualified in an engineering discipline
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to manage own time and schedule effectively
