I have an immediate requirement for a Senior Project Engineer to join my client's team, in their Bristol offices on a permanent basis.
My client is an established international provider of mechanical services solutions to the energy services sector.
They have extensive engineering offices, workshops and storage facilities in 24 locations, located in each of the key oil and gas markets. They have invested heavily in creating our capability and they generated profitable revenue in excess of £140m in 2012.

Each of their business lines is considered an expert in their field - and they have over 1400 experienced personnel deployed onshore, offshore and onsite across the world.
*Leading a small team of design and project engineers, managing projects including management of 3rd parties.
*To maintain the mechanical integrity and functionality of current designs and to produce install new engineering solutions
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
*Production of design concepts and schemes, the approval of associated drawings mechanical and structural drawings, using CAD. (mainly AutoCAD)
*Analysing historical and current maintenance data and revaluating old design to current specifications
*Preparation of detailed reports (FEED submissions, work packs) and mechanical maintenance procedures.
*Concept design, specification and installation of new build equipment
*Take customer work scopes and propose practical working solutions, with estimates of costs and time scales
*Adhering to company and client document control standards, ensuring consistent checking/approval of drawings and data
*Project reporting and liaison with the client
*Approval of installation and test procedures. Checking delivery of finished product and related equipment
*Assist other department in the completion of projects as required
*Undertake customer and vendor visits in support of specific projects or business development as and when required.
*Some International travel is expected along with offshore visits
*Relevant engineering degree
*Strong CAD skills, preferably with AutoCAD
*Analytical and mathematical skill associated with large industrial machinery
*Management and decision making within large industrial projects
*Experience of oil and gas/equivalent industries or if a recent graduate strong academic skills and a demonstrable ability to learn quickly
*Computer literate in MS Computer Literate in MS Office Packages
*Experience of large mechanical lift or materials handling machinery
*Experience with control systems (Electric/Hydraulic/Pneumatic)
*High ethical awareness and integrity.
