In this role you will be accountable for facilitating and driving delivery of a range of projects that will help ensure the de-risking and acceleration of the UK’s offshore wind programme. You will work closely with developers and other internal and external stakeholders and in particular, take specific responsibility for forging, evolving and managing our relationship assigned offshore wind developers. You will swiftly gain an understanding of these developers’ business strategy, plans and drivers, which will enable you to identify opportunities to add value to, and support, their offshore wind development activities.
With a relevant qualification, your considerable experience of contact and project management in renewable energy or a related sector will have included exposure to wind power and/or consenting. Great at developing meaningful relationships, you will be a excellent communicator and team player with the confidence to make an immediate impact, plus the ability to understand wider business considerations. You must also be self sufficient and able to manage your time and workload efficiently and effectively.
