The Energy Services Commercial Manager is pivotal in delivering multi £m energy performance partnerships within B2B . The overall purpose of this role is to build and lead a team to develop and sell new energy performance partnerships and associated energy efficiency services to B2B customers.



The B2B Energy Services portfolio is mainly built around Energy Performance Contracts and Integrated Propositions as well all other commercial offers.



The job requires the capacity to understand customer needs, the Energy Services market and the associated risks. It also requires strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage complex, sophisticated energy services products and concepts as well as the partnerships that ensure their commercial success.



Thorough understanding of the energy supply and energy services industry in the UK and the related regulatory frameworks and requirements.



Extensive knowledge of techniques to build sales capability and ability to lead, inspire and support a team in order to achieve business results

Demonstrable knowledge of managing Profit & Loss accounts or modelling of sales Gross/Net Margins.

Ability to think strategically and identify and generate future business opportunities.

Able to lead a creative function with detailed knowledge of processes, required culture and management approaches required for such a function.

Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of products and services.

Projects vary and the successful applicant will need to be highly flexible and prepared to be involved in a wide variety of tasks according to the work required.

Able to work effectively internally and externally with strong influencing skills.
