A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a fast paced leading Energy company in the city as a Senior Energy Analyst to provide expert advice and recommendations on the UK and European energy markets. Working closely with the trading team you will develop short to medium term trading strategies and long-term scenario analysis. You will develop and contribute to all internal and external market industry reports ensuring their clients are aware of all market and industry changes that influence future energy prices. You will be expected to present your analysis to clients, at workshops and seminars and support the sales team in targeting prospective customers.
You will have proven experience within the Energy services sector, specifically in either oil, gas, renewable, fuel or power analysis. This will have included forecasting, hedging, trading and commodity market analysis. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to present your research to the media where necessary.
