Project Development Manager - Renewable Energy

Salary c.£50,000 + 25% bonus + package
A Renewable Energy Developer is currently seeking to build on their success within the Anaerobic Digestion market by recruiting an additional Project Development Manager. This will be a key role in driving the growth of the business. The company is has excellent financial backing and have the ambition to build 40 new AD plants across the UK over the next 5 years.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Development Director, the role holder with be assisting the Development Team in driving forward the planning, development and execution of renewable Anaerobic Digestion power projects UK wide. This involves taking ownership of potential projects from initiation through to Investment Committee approval for construction.
The role involves extensive relationship building and supplier management and development. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key external stakeholders including site owners and planners and will oversee the reviewing, sourcing and negotiations for available feedstock within the site vicinity.
The role will work across various teams internally to coordinate stakeholder relationships including planning, logistics, construction, grid connection and legal frameworks for the projects. A key part of the role will also be developing relationships with potential contracting partners before and once construction is underway.
Candidates will require excellent project management, commercial and relationship skills and will have to be self-starters highly motivated to get results. Prior waste industry knowledge is essential.
