Geotechnical Engineer

Leading multi-disciplinary consultancy with a workload that includes major infrastructure, power, civil and residential projects are looking to recruit a Geotechnical Engineer into their Ground Engineering Team in the South East.

Working on exciting and challenging projects you should have experience of:

* Supervision of geotechnical / engineering geology works and interpretation of data
* Detailed report writing - geotechnical and geo-environmental
* Foundation design and ground improvement
* Acting as a mentor / advisor to Junior and Graduate members of the division

The ideal candidate should be educated to degree level, ideally possess an MSc Geotechnical Engineering, Soil Mechanics or Engineering Geology and have a wealth of geotechnical / engineering geology expertise. Geotechnical design experience in relation to slope stability assessments, retaining walls and ground improvements is essential.  A good working knowledge of contaminated land assessments and an appreciation of remediation methods would be advantageous, though not essential.  You should have the ability to manage multiple projects at any given time and have excellent client liaison skills.
