Our client an engineering consultancy and contractor now have an exciting opportunity for a geo-environmental engineer to join this growing division. As an organisation their Geotechnical and Environmental Engineers add value across a strong client portfolio comprising of high-profile commercial and residential projects, as well as conservation and regeneration schemes. With a reputation for high quality design and project delivery this is an ideal opportunity for the right candidate to develop and enhance their career.
The successful candidate will be actively involved in day to day project management and must have relevant experience, which should include:
- Desk Studies
- Geo-Environmental Site Investigation
- Schedule Testing
- Risk Assessments / Method Statements
- Report Writing
- Project management
Ideally you will have an excellent academic background preferable degree qualifications in the following disciplines; BSc Geology, Geoscience or Geochemistry, ideally with MSc Environmental Engineering, Contaminated Land or Engineering Geology, or similar.
This is a predominantly site based role so it is imperative that any potential applicants have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. This opportunity is initially on a month-by-month rolling contract but should workload continue to increase a more permanent position could be on the cards.
