Lead Auditor, Aerospace

Our client is a world leading compliance specialist. An urgent requirement has arisen for a Lead Auditor in aerospace to cover work from the Manchester/Leeds area up to the Scottish Central Belt (inclusive).
You will be responsible for undertaking audits and providing customer service specifically in aerospace. You will be required to achieve your target revenue (man days) in line with the annual budget, as well as ensuring client retention and sell-on and identifying commercial opportunities. This will include:
- Auditing the client as per the audit plan
- Contributing to reports by submitting evidence and auditor notes
- Contributing to the follow up
You will also, at times, be required to act as a Site Audit Team Leader or Contract Lead Auditor.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be educated to degree level or equivalent with the Lead Auditor AA qualification for aerospace. Ideally you will also have lead auditor status with ISO14001, ISO9001 and OHSAS18001. Competency in carrying out certification audits is essential, along with a strong industrial background and commercial awareness. You should also be highly mobile and naturally comfortable in selling a service to clients at high/medium level.
