URS is currently recruiting for a Senior Acoustics Consultant to join our specialist noise and vibration team in London.
As a Senior Acoustics Consultant, you will work with both internal and external clients on a wide range of projects, the position will mainly be based in the UK focusing on London and south, however there may be the need to visit sites out of the region and work away from home for short periods, inlcuding overseas.
We are looking for experienced candidates with a good knowledge of UK environmental acoustics standards, legislation, assessment and predcition methodologies.
Ideally you will have qualifications in the following areas - MSc/BSc in Acoustics/Noise and Vibration or associated discpline.preferably MIOA, but AMIOA considered.
You must have consultancy experience in the field of Building Acoustics including PA and building services noise and vibration. Industrial and environmental N+V experience would also be an advantage with particular reference to oil and gas. You must also be able to demonstrate good knowledge of UK environmental acoustics standards, legislation, assessment and predcition methodologies.
