Our client, an international multidisciplinary consultancy, is searching for a Principal Due Diligence Consultant to join their team in London.
As an environmental due diligence and corporate compliance specialist you will be responsible for managing and undertaking EHS & technical due diligence projects and corporate compliance assessments, delivering transactions and compliance services as well as taking on the role of project manager as required. You will also co-ordinate with internal teams and clients so you must take responsibility for appropriate targets and client relationship development.
Extensive knowledge of the application of UK national and European environmental (and preferably health & safety) legislation is essential. You must also demonstrate a high level of commercial awareness, particularly regarding the transactions due diligence process and be aware of the commercial and financial issues.
Experience in undertaking environmental transactions, due diligence and legal compliance activities of complex industrial projects is essential and you will also be a proven project manager.
Relevant first and second degrees are required with health & safety knowledge or qualifications advantageous.
CEnv or equivalent is also preferred.
