My client is theUK's leading independent contaminated land advisor providing environmental liability and project management solutions to clients across theUKandIreland.
Due to continuing expansion, they are seeking contaminant hydrogeologist to join the team in theirBristolorCardiffoffice.
Experience required
- An engineering / scientific / geological / hydrogeological background
- Experience of assessing risks to various receptors from potentially contaminated land
- Experience of undertaking, and a strong understanding of, Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessments for the Water Environment (Controlled Waters) using ConSIM and RTM spreadsheets.
- Good knowledge of contaminant chemistry essential.
Qualifications required
You should hold a minimum education equivalent of a BSc in a geological related science or engineering subject with preferably a higher degree in hydrogeology; Chartered ((e.g. CEng, CEnv, CSci, CGeol) or working toward chartership
