Based in our Refuse & Environment Division, you’ll carry out a variety of duties relating to air quality, energy efficiency and contaminated land. These will range from calibrating air quality site monitoring equipment, liaising with quality assurance contractors and preparing reports to reviewing Air Quality Assessments and land condition reports for planning applications. You’ll also manage and promote energy efficiency initiatives such as Green Deal.
To be up to the task you’ll need a Master’s degree in an environmental science discipline, including atmospheric science and air quality management. Numerate, articulate and IT literate, you’ll be capable of communicating effectively at all levels and translating technical information into easy to understand information.
