Remediation Engineer / Senior Remediation Engineer

Allen & York are currently searching for a Remediation Engineer to join one of the leading global environmental consultancies.
 
You will be providing day to day project delivery on a variety of challenging remediation schemes as well as taking a lead in these projects. You will be involved in a wide range of projects employing a variety of remediation techniques and approaches and also a high degree of site based project work, data gathering, data management and technical assessment.
 
A degree (first ideally) in a relevant area (chemistry or geochemistry, civil or geological engineering) is essential as well as good demonstrable experience within contaminated land, remediation, site investigations, remediation projects and data management. You must also have a good understanding of the technical and practical demands of remediation project as well as an understanding of commercial imperatives and project management.
 
Experience of working on design & implementation contracts is desirable.
