GIS Consultant

Our client, one of leading global environmental consultancies, is searching for an experienced GIS Consultant to be based in the UK.
 
The main purpose of this position is to provide information on GIS services on projects across the business. You will also be undertaking work in order to achieve positive outcomes for various clients.
 
A solid background in consultancy is vital as it project management experience in an internal consulting or strategic role.
 
You must have BSc Degree or Masters Degree in GIS as well as a good understanding of key GIS datasets and experience of ESRI’s ArcGIS 10 software
 
Knowledge of one or more of the ESRI GIS software add-ons is desirable as well as knowledge of scripting language in a GIS environment and use of GIS in environmental-themed projects.
