A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sustainability Consultant to join an award winning, multi disciplined energy consultancy, which provides innovative advice and funding solutions to local authorities, registered social landlords, homeowners and businesses.
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Sustainability Consultant to undertake and manage environmental assessments (Code for Sustainable Homes, BREEAM) and energy (i.e. SAP, SBEM) assessments on new and existing buildings.
. Candidates will be able to use SAP and SBEM as base tools for developing energy strategies on development projects.
Candidates should also have good knowledge of building design, construction and knowledge of legislation and policy of sustainability.
ROLE SUMMARY:
To can carry out sustainability and energy assessments on new and existing buildings. Primary Roles will include:
·Undertaking and managing environmental assessments (Code for Sustainable Homes, BREEAM and LEED).
·Developing & undertaking energy strategies on development projects using SAP and SBEM as base tools.
BACKGROUND:
The successful applicant will be:
·Educated to degree level in a suitable scientific, engineering or other discipline
·A Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor
·A SAP and SBEM assessor
·BREEAM qualified is desirable but not essential.
·Familiar with IES
·A Member of CIBSE/IEMA/EI or working towards membership.
