This exciting role has arisen for an experienced GIS Technician to provide support to a wide variety of projects. Our client is a leading international environmental consultancy and as such can provide superb career development opportunities.
Working closely with GIS specialists and supported by scientists and engineers, you will be producing high quality GIS products for inclusion in reports, presentations and web services. Your work will be viewed by developers, operators, regulators and other stakeholders including the general public. You will be encouraged to develop your skills and offer your own incites and ideas as projects develop.
In order to be considered for this role you must have experience with ARCGIS 9.3 and above. The ability to design impressive materials as well as the flexibility to adapt and multi task with a variety of projects and people is essential. In addition, it is likely that you will have: a scientific, engineering or environmental degree, exposure to Xtools pro and/or ARCGIS extensions, competence with Excel formulae and macros, and programming skills.
