Our client is a long established end-to-end renewable energy consultancy who have a strong and growing reputation within onshore small scale and medium scale developments

They owing to expansion are looking to grown their planning team.

The successful candidate will preferably have a background in (wind) planning and at least 2 years experience, however RTPI qualified planners without industry experience will also be considered.

You will be required to prepare, manage and monitor planning applications and appeals for wind turbines and alternative renewable technologies. You will also assist with the production of feasibility reports and supporting materials such as photomontages.

As a wind-planning consultant you will work for a range of clients in the agricultural and commercial sector and will be required to be a good communicator with a strong customer focus.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of renewable, in particular wind, and will be a strong negotiator. They will also have organisational, time management and problem solving skills, together with report writing and presentational skills.
