Associate/Technical Director Air Quality

My client is one of the worlds top 10 consultancy's specialising in environmental, sustainability, energy and health & safety issues. Operating from over 200 locations and employing over 9000 people their fantastic reputation has been built on helping their clients manage risks, reduce costs and create competitive opportunity in their markets.

With clients ranging from domestic, regional businesses or public and government bodies, through to major multi-national organisations they pride themselves on providing the correct solution whatever the circumstances. They advise on a local level and with many of their international clients on a global level. Their clients come through many sectors: natural resources; pharmaceutical; information technology; manufacturing; government; property development; finance; and legal.

Due to continued expansion an Air Quality specialist with substantial experience in environmental consultancy is required to join their existing and successful air quality team.

Your role will involve (in conjunction with the Air Quality Team Leader):
*Undertaking technical air quality assessment work (including odour) for a variety of different projects, requiring expert knowledge of ADMS and ADMS Roads in particular;
*providing technical direction and assisting with both the technical development and growth of the team;
*business development to raise the profile of the Air Quality Team both in house and externally, including the preparation and undertaking of business development strategies;
*developing the air quality service line offering to both UK and overseas clients and looking for new opportunities;
*mentoring and upskilling junior members of the team to ensure continued technical excellence; and technical review of work produced by the team.

The project work will be varied covering a range of sectors including: renewable energy, waste, power generation, property development, retail and highways schemes etc. This work is not only undertaken for projects in the UK but for projects overseas too, providing real diversity in workload, challenges and opportunities.

Expert witness experience is desirable for the Associate Director roles and essential for the Technical Director role.
