Our client is a highly successful engineering consultancy with a highly regarded water operations division. This exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to lead and develop approximately 15 staff in the Mechanical, Electrical and Process team.
Managing an allocated team, you will provide general pastoral care as well as supervising workload, productivity, recruitment, mentoring, training and development. You will also undertake technical engineering projects and project management. This workload will be varied and will give you the chance to work on high profile and overseas projects within the water and industrial sectors.
In order to be considered, you should be able to demonstrate the following:
-Degree qualification with a mechanical, electrical or process bias and chartership
-Significant experience of working in the water industry, in both potable and foul water
-Experience of managing or coordinating teams and staff
-Project team leadership
-Financial management
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Robust commercial and consultancy awareness
-A track record of winning and delivering engineering projects
-Stakeholder engagement
