As a result of the success of the Environmental Impact and Planning business, it requires a highly motivated and high achieving Archaeology Consultant.

The successful candidate will:
-Carry out desk studies, consultations, research, data management and analysis and report writing.
-Consult and attend meetings with clients, regulators, sub-contractors and planning authorities.
-Carry out archaeological and historic environment assessments in the field. It will be necessary to work flexibly with regard to type of work, timing and location.
-Deliver archaeological reports and other requested input into Environmental Impact Assessments.
-Coordinate and project manage historic environment, archaeology and other contracts, liaising with internal and external deliverers, third parties and clients.
-Support sales to new and existing clients through assistance with sales visits, presentations, tender writing and other activity as required.

Experience
You will have
-An initial degree or equivalent in a relevant environmental subject e.g. archaeology, landscape archaeology, historic environment
-At least 1 year?s experience of historic environment consultancy, preferably in a commercial environment
-Knowledge and experience of the preparation of archaeological impact assessments/desk based assessments
-Minimum of PIfA level membership of the Institute for Archaeologists (if IfA membership is not held at appointment, attaining it would be seen as being a probationary requirement)
-Experience of using digital HER records
-Full driving licence
