Allen & York are pleased to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced Remediation Engineer to join one of the world's leading project and construction management organisations near Brussels.
The successful candidate will be responsible for remedial design work, site characterisation, and groundwater remediation as well as provide strong technical oversight, lead communication with the project team and project manage multiple, complex remediation projects at various phases.
A degree (preferably MSc) in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Geo-technical Engineering (or equivalent) is essential as well as good demonstrable experience with large scale contaminated land remedial engineering projects, contaminated land projects and designing and implementing groundwater and soil remedial plans. Experience with industry-specific software such as databases (ArcGIS or similar) is also a must.
Previous project management experience would be desirable as well as experience working internationally.
Flexibility is essential as this position may require you to travel periodically.
Proficient spoken and written Dutch and English is essential. Other languages skills including French, Italian or Spanish would be advantageous
