A market leader in the field of environmental software is currently seeking an Implementation Consultant to join its team in Nottinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an environmental specialist with a keen interest in IT to get involved in the implementation of its highly regarded software. This position will require extensive international travel, sometimes at short notice.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Client negotiations
-Tender responses
-Proposal writing
-Implementing scoping exercises
-Database builds
-Database legacy population
-On site training and implementation
-Client liaison and support
You will have a technical environmental background and/or previous sales and marketing experience gained within the natural resources sector. Excellent general IT skills are essential; knowledge of SQL Server would be a distinct advantage. You should also be articulate and able to represent the business in a client facing role.
