Cefas’ vast marine expertise is in increasing demand from the offshore Oil & Gas sector. Our marine services are used during development planning, operation and decommissioning. They range from discrete technical and scientific disciplines, such as collection and analysis of metocean data, habitat mapping, underwater acoustics, ecotoxicology, fisheries impact assessments and spill dispersion modelling, to delivery of solutions for impact assessments and oil spill emergency response.
We are a high end, niche provider, differentiated by directly relevant applied science and technology, adding value through quality and innovation.
An individual with drive is required to join a team engaged in developing and delivering new business to meet the needs of the offshore Oil and Gas industry. For this post, you will possess a solid understanding of the offshore O&G industry, with prior experience of business development and project management of environmental projects for industry. You will be able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team of marine scientists, project managers and business developers.

Based in our Lowestoft Laboratory close to Norwich and reporting to the Divisional Director Environment & Ecosystems, your role will be to lead the development of new and existing Cefas business in the O&G sector. You will also be required to manage key customer and stakeholder interfaces.
