My client provides environmental planning and design consultancy services, to clients throughout the UK, from their two regional offices. Their core services relate to Landscape, Ecology, Heritage and Trees and they work across all sectors, including residential, commercial and renewable energy.
As a result of their ever growing workload, they are seeking to recruit up to three landscape architects. They offer a generous benefits package, which includes 30 days annual leave, flexible working hours, profit share bonus scheme, private health care and life insurance. Where appropriate, new recruits will be given full support to pursue Chartership via the 'P2C' process.
All applicants must have excellent presentation skills in both written and graphic material and be enthusiastic, ambitious and self motivated. A full driving licence is also essential and use of an appropriately insured vehicle.
Senior Landscape Planner:
The core workload of my clients Landscape Team is related to Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment for medium to large scale development proposals. They are seeking to enhance and complement their team of six Chartered Landscape Architects with a further experienced individual to take on new projects.
The ideal individual will be able to work independently on LVIA inputs and also be capable of managing projects where inputs from our ecology, archaeology and arboricultural teams may also be required. Further capability in respect of Landscape Strategies, Management Plans and EIA will also be of great value. It is expected that the successful candidate will have solid experience within a consultancy to be able to confidently demonstrate the above skill set.
Alongside their core Landscape Planning activity, this clients Landscape Team has a growing requirement for Landscape Design inputs across a wide variety of projects. This results in an opportunity for an enthusiastic self starter, qualified to Post-Graduate level on an LI accredited course, to provide a range of design and graphic support to the landscape, and wider teams. The workload will be varied and challenging and an ability to work under pressure, within budgets and to deadlines, is crucial. While initially the role will be graphics led, over time opportunities will be available to develop broader capabilities and to evolve into a fully developed Landscape Consultant as part of the Landscape Planning team
