Technical Sales Manager, Renewables
Our client is a well established building services company with offices throughout the UK. This exciting opportunity has arisen for a renewables professional to join its team based in Tyne and Wear.
You will be responsible for providing technical and commercial expertise in order to enhance the company's capability in selling and developing renewables systems. This will include solar photovoltaic, solar thermal, air source, ground source and biomass. You will also have responsibility for identifying opportunities and taking a key role in the business development team and for taking a lead role in presentations and demonstrations. Other duties will include:
-Travelling within the UK to visit potential clients
-Producing and conducting technical surveys
-Keeping up to date with latest technologies and products
You will have excellent communication skills as the job entails developing and maintaining relationships with partners, customers and peers. In addition you will have an up to date and in depth understanding of renewable technologies, including their application and integration:
oRenewable installation including:
?Air and ground source
?Combined heat power
oRenewable design including knowledge of:
oIn depth knowledge of current government legislation:
?Feed in Tariff (FiT)
?Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI)
?Energy Company Obligation (ECO)
?Code for Sustainable Homes
oKnowledge of policies and procedures required for industry quality assurance schemes:
?Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS)
oQuoting/estimating PV systems from 1kw to 5mw
