Senior Mining Environment Consultant

Allen & York are currently looking for a Senior Mining Environment Consultant to join one of the leading global consultancies.
 
This position is based in London and will involve the delivery of environmental services to clients, particularly in the international mining market.

The core responsibilities of this role include; undertaking environmental and social impact assessments, audits and management plans; preparing tenders for assignments and assist with marketing activities; provide technical input to other assignments; assist in the development of the environmental mining aspects of the business and key market development

An Environmental Science (or similar) Bachelors degree is essential as is demonstrable ESIA experience in the mining sector. You must also have good ESIA project experience (in excess of £1 million) and a successful consultancy background.
 
A Masters related degree is highly desirable as is EARA auditor registration and experience in due diligence/auditing.

Proficiency in another language (French, Spanish, Portuguese or Arabic) is highly advantageous and you will also need to be flexible to work overseas on longer-term projects (up to 3 weeks).
